The Storehouse and Distilleries You Should Visit in Ireland on Your Next Golf Trip

Whisky and Guinness are viewed the same way throughout the world: People either love them or dislike them profusely.  There always seems to be a strong opinion one way or another.

Regardless of which group you’re in, we highly suggest you visit the Guinness Storehouse, Jameson Distillery and Bushmill’s Distillery in Ireland.  These amazing sights are enjoyable to see and experience, even for the non-drinker. An integral part of the Irish culture, these drinks should be appreciated by all who visit Ireland.

So, the next time you’re on a golf trip in Ireland, visit these three fantastic drink emporiums:

Jameson Distillery- John Jameson is Ireland’s version of the “Most interesting man in the world”. If you haven’t seen the commercials, check them out on YouTube. This delicious Irish whiskey provides visitors of Ireland a unique experience that could be a perfect addition to any golf trip. There are two Jameson distilleries available for visit, the Old Jameson distillery in Dublin and the Jameson Experience in Midleton, Cork. In Dublin, you can tour the Old Distillery founded in 1780 and enjoy a drink at one of the three bars. Afterwards, stop by the 3rd Still Restaurant which sits overlooking this famous distillery. Today, most of the whisky is distilled in Cork, here visitors can explore the old grounds littered with old kilns, mills, the water wheel and the old warehouse.
